You can add more or less to the water based on your preference.

Choose the right floor mop. For tough set in stains mix water and 2 tablespoons of liquid laundry detergent together in a spray bottle. After sweeping up the sawdust pour soda on the entire area. A large bottle of liquid laundry detergent fulfills most of your cleaning needs.
If you have already used sawdust or kitty litter to absorb oil stains you can use soda to clean up everything that remains. Let two teabags steep in the boiling water for a few minutes. Stay away from metal brushes as this can scratch your tile and pull out grout. Clean tile with mild detergent and clean water using a rag or chamois type mop rather than a sponge mop.
Overlap your mop strokes to ensure that no area of the floor is missed while cleaning. You begin the process by filling a bucket with warm water. Use boiling water and two teabags to clean hardwood floors. Instead use a mild ph neutral cleaner that won t streak or discolor the tile.
Slate tile floors can be cleaned with a mixture of warm water and mild detergent such as dish soap. Step 4 combine cup white vinegar with 1 gallon warm water for cleaning especially dirty parquet floors.
